A local Karachi court rejected the case against Mustafa Amir after the anti-narcotic force (ANF) submitted a report confirming his death.
According to officials, the ANF presented a death certificate and other documents before the courts, verifying that Mustafa Amir, also known as Amir alias Taimoor, had died. The court, after examining the evidence, officially closed the case against him.
Meanwhile, two co-accused, Ammar Hameed and Faisal Yaqoob, remain fugitive. The court has reissued non -recordable arrest warrants for both.
Mustafa Amir had been appointed to a drug case in 2024, and mandates for his arrest were issued on February 22 of this year. With his case now closed, the authorities are continuing their efforts to understand the remaining suspects.
Mustafa Amir, 23, disappeared from Karachi DHA on January 6, and it took the police 39 days to determine that he had been murdered. His charred body was discovered later in Balutchistan.
Armaghan, a knowledge of the victim, was arrested on February 8 after a spectacular four -hour case, during which he opened fire on the police, injuring a DSP and a constable.
The case has exposed links to an alleged network of drugs, in particular involving the cannabis trade, in which the suspect and the victim would have been engaged.
