The KP cabinet approves the RS1,247b subsidy for the flood victims of Bajaur

The government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) sanctioned RS1,247 billion in emergency services for families displaced by floods in Bajaur, as part of a wider set of measures aimed at improving governance, public services and infrastructure through the province.

This decision is part of a wider set of development and well-being decisions taken during the 38th meeting of the province’s office, chaired by the Minister-Chief Ali Amin Khan Gandapur.

During the session, the cabinet approved a new communication strategy for the government and sanctioned the reconstruction of Pak Sadd Shaheed’s police lines, as well as new police stations and posts in Peshawar. A field for a police station in Akbarpura, Nowshera, was also Green-Léclairé.

Financial reforms included the increase in net actions for hydroelectric income for districts allocated by dams from 10% to 15%, changes to the rules of the Health Care Commission and the Commission for Women and Revisions of the Still Act of 1899.

The firm increased the minimum monthly salary of the province of RS36,000 to Rs40,000. Funding was also sanctioned for the construction of a Nadra office in Dera Ismail Khan, a subsidy of 6 million rupees for a kidney transplant, and the participation of KP in Islamabad National Youth Games 2025.

In addition, RS100 million rations were allocated to victims of earthquakes in Afghanistan.
