ISLAMABAD:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday warned that the province would not be able to sustain itself for even two days if the army were to withdraw, saying the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial government did not have the capacity to manage law and order alone.
Speaking to reporters at the Islamabad Press Club, the governor said intelligence-led operations were inevitable to ensure peace and stability in KP, stressing that the provincial government should extend full support to such efforts.
He said that without peace, economic activity and business could not function.
