- More details on the Galaxy S25 FE have emerged
- The screen and the battery could get a boost
- We could see a launch in September
We are always formed our first impressions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe, but more Samsung phones are on the way – and the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is the subject of the last leak to appear online.
According to a techmaniacs report (via GSMarena), the Galaxy S25 FE will be delivered with a low -temperature polycrystalline oxide screen (LTPO) – which essentially means that it is capable of adjusting its refreshment rate as a function of what is on the screen.
It is useful for reducing the refreshment rate and improving the battery life if an always activated display is activated, for example, when the phone is locked: while the Samsung Galaxy S24 Fe supports a display mode always on, it does not use LTPO technology, so on the new model, the impact on the battery should not be as great.
You will see LTPO screens on high-end phones such as the Apple iPhone 16 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S25, and this is perhaps an indication that the Galaxy S25 Fe will be a more premium offer than its predecessors.
Battery upgrade
The other upgrade of the key components mentioned by Techmaniacs is the battery. The capacity apparently went from 4,700 mAh to 4,900 mAh, while the wired load rate should go from 25 W to 45 W.
It would of course be the improvements of course, although nothing is certain until Samsung makes this phone official. As with the previous FE (“fan edition”) phones, it should be somewhere between the flagship product and the budget categories.
Other rumors have suggested that the Galaxy S25 FE screen will be thinner and will have smaller glasses, while it could well be fed by an Exynos 2400 chip. However, in the camera department, rear cameras could be the same as those of the Galaxy S24 Fe. All this is also supported by the last leak.
It is still not clear when we could see the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE – Although the indicators are on the way. The Galaxy S24 FE was introduced in September 2024, so its successor could well appear in September 2025.
