Rockstar Games said the last Grand Theft Auto 6 The trailer was monitored almost half a billion times during its first day.
After delaying and announced a new release date for GTA 6The studio abandoned the second trailer earlier this week, causing the explosion of the Internet. It is perhaps the most anticipated game of all time, so it is not surprising that it has brought millions of views since its beginnings, but we now learn that the latest trailer has broken a new record.
According to a new report by the Hollywood Reporter, Rockstar revealed that the second trailer had received 475 million views on all platforms within 24 hours of its release.
This amazing number of views has broken some of the most watched band launches, including Deadpool & Wolverine, which accumulated 365 million in 24 hours, and Spider-Man: No Way Home at 355.5 million.
The first trailer, which was exclusive to YouTube and made its debut in December 2023, managed to accumulate 93 million views during its first day, compared to the second trailer, which is currently 85 million on the platform.
17 months since its release, the announcement trailer has been watched 255 million times on Youtube, so the second trailer will probably continue to grow in sight while we are waiting for the next one.
After its release, Rockstar confirmed that the second trailer had been entirely captured on the PlayStation 5 and “composed of a gameplay in equal parts and the cutscenes”.
We have also received a new description of the plot which centers the double protagonists of the game, Jason and Lucia, in a criminal plot through Vice City. For more GTA 6 trailer.
