The Giants published a statement concerning the message.

“We are aware of these serious allegations. We have been in contact with the MLB. This type of allegations is their jurisdiction, and we will not comment more,” the statement said.

The director of the team, Bob Melvin, addressed the allegations at a team’s press conference before the team’s match against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday.
