Islamabad:
Pouillée by a historic military and diplomatic triumph, the political and religious leaders of Pakistan burst into jubilation while the regional stature of the country has skyrocketed following a cease-fire agreement with India, won after a thunderous response brought to New Delhi to the heel.
The leaders on the other side of the political aisle praised the armed forces for the meticulously executed operation Bunyan-Un-Marsoos, only carried out a few days after Pakistan entered history by lowering five Indian hunting planes, including four of the very tuned gusts.
The festive atmosphere came after a tense night in several cities when India has launched strikes not caused in attempts to target PAF installations to increase the conflict.
The former Prime Minister and President of the PML-N Nawaz Sharif, long considered as a supporter of the repair of fences with the Eastern neighbor, went to the social media platform X to express his gratitude.
“Allah, the Almighty, was congratulated for having increased the stature of Pakistan,” he published, congratulating Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the chief of staff Syed Asim Asim Munnir, the marshal of the air chief Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and the armed forces.
“Pakistan is a country in love with peace and prefers peace, but it also knows how to defend itself. Pakistan Zindabad,” added the former Prime Minister.
Vice-Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, in his own post, confirmed the breakthrough.
“Pakistan and India have agreed with an immediate cease-fire. Pakistan has always worked for peace and security in the region without ever compromising its sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
He added that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio played a decisive role in facilitating this result.
Meanwhile, the chief of Jamaat-E-Islami, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, said that the cease-fire of the validation of unity, faith and the preparation of Pakistan.
“It has been proven that Islam, faith and mind of jihad can unite the Pakistani nation,” he said.
“Pakistan now has superiority over India. I hope the government will not lose a war won at the negotiating table.”
Calling for assertive diplomacy, he added: “The time has come to raise the question of cashmere with full force. The nation will not accept any compromise on cashmere. Progress must be made according to the UN resolutions.”
He also demanded the complete application of the Industry Water Treaty, which India has unilaterally suspended as a result of Pahalgam’s attack.
‘Divine help’
Meanwhile, Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, added that divine support and national unity had led Pakistan through the danger.
“In difficult times, it was the help of Allah and the consistency of the nation that brought the honor of Pakistan in the face of Indian aggression.” He made congratulations on the nation, political leaders and the armed forces.
“May Allah accept the martyrdom of innocent civilians in this recent conflict. The Indian-Israeli plot to set fire to the region has been thwarted.”
He stressed that political cohesion and a solid defense infrastructure had forced the enemy to withdraw. “May Allah continue to protect us from future tests. Let him preserve our homeland and bless us with the true essence of an Islamic Providence State.”
He also thanked Saudi Arabia and other fraternal countries for their positive role during the crisis.
The chief minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, in his post on X, congratulated the nation and the soldiers as well as the political direction for the reinforced defense of the country.
“Pakistan has won! Alhamdulillah! Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Staff of the Syed Asim Munnir army, the Pakistan armed forces and Nawaz Sharif have returned the proud nation and showed the world that the defense of Pakistan is impregnable and that the country is in patriotic hands and hands,” she said.
The main minister of Punjab, Marriyum Aurangzeb, also visited the social media platform, X, claiming that the inhabitants of Pakistan greet the courageous armed forces for their daring and professional response to the cowardice of India and the war hysteria.
“We are united behind our Prime Minister, who led the nation and a united front with the courage, clarity and the unshakable resolution to stand firmly behind our armed forces at each stage.”
She noted that after having exercised his right to self-defense, Pakistan, by operation Bunyan-Un-Marsoos, has shown the world “that we have technology, equipment, strategy and especially the unequaled spirit of our armed forces”.
“The inhabitants of Pakistan also express their deep appreciation for the Pakistani media, which acted with maturity and responsibility. Refusing to participate in false news in the Indian media, the Pakistani media were firm on facts, she declared Indian lies and confirmed the integrity of the national story,” she said.
The Minister stressed that even international media has exposed the propaganda of India, proving that the world recognizes the truth about noise.
“It is the brand of a united responsible nation in defense, worthy in the story. Our leadership, the armed forces, the media and people stand together. Pakistan is strong. Pakistan is proud. Pakistan Zindabad!” She added.
