The legend of the Eagles of Philadelphia, Brian Westbrook, heard the head coach Nick Sirianni said that the team would not watch their banner of the Super Bowl Lix Rise at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday evening.
Westbrook could no longer love this mentality.

Westbrook spoke at PK Press Club Digital after working with USAA as part of his recycled rides NFL Kickofp on Wednesday, offering a new car to a member of the deserving military service, where he discussed the mentality of Eagles before 2025.
“The only thing I love in this team during the offseason was their approach,” he said. “This offseason was not for them to take a tour of a victory around Philadelphia and the United States saying that it is the best football team, they beat the reigning champions, and they did it, that and the other. It was not there. It was a question of refocusing. It was a question of saying:” Yes, we won last year, but we still have something.
“This is what this offseason was for this football team.”

Westbrook added that, in these conversations with Eagles players, he has only heard of off -season training sessions and while waiting for 2025 instead of remembering the Super Bowl.
In the eyes of Westbrook, much of this was the direction of Jalen Hurts, the quarter of the team franchise.

“Chip on his shoulder,” said Westbrook about Hurts, who enters his sixth year in an Eagles uniform. “People still doubt him. The superb MVP and people are still doubting him. So Jalen walks with a little chip on his shoulder, and I appreciate it because I played with that too. His ability to direct this team will say a lot, and I think he is a great leader.”
Of course, you cannot talk about the 2024 Eagles without mentioning their greatest free agent pickup, the Ballon Saquon Barkley, who led the NFL in the yards on the ground and the melee yards during his first season in Philadelphia.
Westbrook, having played the position of Barkley while a member of the Eagles, knows how important he is for the success of the team now and in the future. But his favorite thing about Barkley is his altruistic nature, where to win, regardless of his role takes a precedent.

The chiefs would have cemented their place of NFL dynasty if they came victorious in New Orleans earlier this year. After all, no team in the history of the League has never won three consecutive super bowls.
But looking at this Eagles team, and how GM Howie Roseman designed this group to have a large championship window in the coming years, it may be the team where the word “dynasty” returns.
“I don’t think you can still throw the word dynasty,” replied Westbrook when you asked you this question. “I think you have to win a few more to do that. I mean, [2017] It was huge, but coming back last year was so huge. Before you can have a dynasty, you have to win a few. But in terms of talents, they have the ability to do so. They have the ability to make a consecutive back and have the opportunity to win a lot of matches this year. As a fan, I hate throwing the dynasty until it happens.
“So, I will not use it, but I can certainly see why people say that this team has the potential to be a dynasty.”

Surprising those who serve us
Westbrook was just outside where the Eagles will play Thursday evening, when he helped the USAA, the official partner of “Salute to Service” of the NFL, offered a vehicle to Airman First Class Keskel Yatrofsky, which is currently used in the American Air Force base in the 2nd air supply squadron according to the joint base McGuire-Lakehurt.
Yatrofsky received a Toyota Camry 2023 entirely repaired and given by the recycled driving of the National Auto Body Council, which focuses on reliable transport to those who needed it.
“Moments like this decrease among the most special moments of my life,” he said. “I think of my children and what we teach them gratitude, give it back, to do things for others who do their day.
“Today, watch Keskel and his face of excitement to receive a car which means so much.”
