After John Mellencamp struck Pat McAfee for his explicit media threshing speech for Fans of Indiana Pacers, a franchise legend seemed to take one side.
McAfee inflated the pacers fans in the last minutes of match 4 of the Eastern conference finals Tuesday, but it left Mellencamp “embarrassed”.
The old bettor of the Indianapolis colts called fans of famous Knicks Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee and Ben Stiller and told the fans of Pacers to “turn this S — Up” and “send these sons of B ——– in New York with their ears”.

MellenoCamp said that “someone” used “a bad sporting spirit”. He did not specifically mention McAfee by name, but it was not exactly a secret, and McAfee replied on X that “I am someone”.
Before calling match 5 Thursday, the legend of the Pacers Reggie Miller published a video editing of him greeting MellenoCamp who included the successful song of Mellencamp, “Jack & Diane”.

The Pacers won the match 4 after McAfee took the microphone to take a 3-1 lead, but the series returned to Indiana after the Knicks wiped the ground with the Pacers in match 5.
