It was not a secret for anyone that the crowd of Bethpage Black last weekend during the Ryder Cup was more severe than normal golf crowds.
Rory McILroy obtained the extent of the heckling, whether he was telling him that his wife was “four”, asking Amanda Balionis in the middle of an adventure previously rumor (with his wife at a few feet), dropping the F bombs, or constant reminders of US 2024 US Open in Pinehurst No. 2.
McILroy called fans of the TEAM Europe’s victory press conference, saying that the heckling should not be accepted as normal behavior by the Ryder Cup.

On the other hand, however, McILroy was surprised using many F bombs towards the fans, saying at least one to “close the F — Up” and even leave several “F — You” after a big putt.
The former player of the USA Ryder Cup team and Captain Paul Azinger noticed and felt the need to call McILroy.
“Rory has probably refused $ 500 million so as not to go to Liv. And he is a European, and we see how much he wants to beat our tour. But he stayed here, and he fought for us. He fought for the PGA Tour, so I love him for that”, started Azinger in an appearance with “Subpar”.
“But today after the press conference, after the end, he said:” I think golf should be held at a higher level of decorum. “But in the meantime, he says ‘F-You, F-You, F-You’ in full voice so that the world can see. The guy in the media asks him today:” How has you felt, Rory, to tell the guy to close the F then hit him two feet? “And he said:” It was pretty good. “And I am like, which is Rory?” Azinger continued. “Is the golf course at a higher level, or are you just going to fans and act as you go?”

“I love Rory, you know, but you can’t say that. You can’t say that fans should behave better and then drop them while waiting. You can’t do both. You must be one or the other.”
During this press conference, PK Press Club Digital questioned McILroy on his interactions with fans and how he chose when doing it.
“Honestly, I would say it’s just on the impulse,” said McILroy. “Sometimes I do it, sometimes I don’t do it. I am completely an impulsive character, if you have not noticed it. Sometimes I get involved and sometimes I will catch up and I will abstain. But I don’t really choose when, and it’s just somehow that sometimes I do it and sometimes I don’t do it.”
Europeans won the event, 15-13, in part partly to domination on Friday and Saturday. They entered the single Sunday at the top of 11.5-4.5, but the Americans made a valiant effort for a miraculous return.

It was not enough, however, and Europe became the first team to win a Ryder Cup on the road since it did in 2012. It was also the first time that Europe won three from 2010 to 2014 that a team won consecutive Ryder Cups.
