The legendary New York Yankees launcher, Mariano Rivera, would have injured an Achilles in the 77th match of the club former day on Saturday, a team spokesman for the New York Daily News said.
The former former Yankees launcher, Rodger Clemens, first revealed the injury in an interview during the WFAN broadcast of the Yankees match.
“It was a fun day until we had just heard about Mariano. Mariano injured his Achilles,” said Clemens. “I think he’s in the hospital now.”

Rivera produced one of the highlights of the match of the elders on Saturday when he came to Bat and struck a single of former teammates and compatriots of the legend of Yankees Andy Pettite.
The day of the alumni on Saturday commemorated the victory of the Yankees in 2000 on the rival of Crosstown New York Mets. Rivera, Clemens and Pettite were all key players from this team.
Rivera became the first and the only player to be elected to the temple of renowned baseball unanimously when he was inducted in 2019.

Rivera, 55, approved President Donald Trump in the presidential campaign in 2024 of Trump.
“President Trump is my friend,” said Rivera on “Sid & Friends” on Wabc radio. “I can’t deny that. I’m going to tell anyone. Before he was the president, he was my friend. Because of that, I’m going to vote for him.”

Trump attributed to Rivera the presidential liberty medal in 2019. Trump, a fan of the Yankees, congratulated it will rivement as “perhaps the greatest launcher of all time”.
