- LG announced the price of LG C5 OLED models
- The launch prices are exactly the same as the LG C4 of last year
- Pre -orders are available via LG
LG has revealed prices for certain models of the LG C5, the mid -range OLE in its TV 2025 range, and the prices are stable compared to last year.
The successor to the LG C4, one of the best televisions published in 2024, some LG C5 models are available in pre -order directly from LG. The models available in pre -order are the 42, 55, 65 and 77 inch and the prices for each is as follows:
- LG 42 inch C5 OLED: £ 1,399.99
- LG 55 inch C5 OLED: £ 1,900
- LG 65 inch C5 OLED: £ 2,699.99
- LG 77 inch C5 OLED: £ 3,799.99
LG seems to have prioritized the most popular sizes in the range, with pre -orders and prices for the 48 and 83 inches still appearing.
We have also seen a confirmed release date, with delivery dates on the LG website labeled on March 31. You can pre-order the LG C5 in the links below, where there is a promotion on each size available with a free sound bar (sound bar models vary depending on the size of the TV):
The latest features of the LG C5 include a new Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor, which includes Brighness Booster Tech, and Webos 25, the latest iteration of the LG Smart TV platform. With Webos 25, a plethora of new AI features, including an AI concierge (tailor -made content recommendations), a vocal identity document and an improved chatbot.
There is also the new AI sound assistant, which allows users to create their own personal sound mode, and from what we have seen in action, it is a fascinating tool that could really be useful for certain viewers.
The right price
Each year, when new televisions are announced, we plan that the latest models will reflect an increase in prices from £ 1 to £ 200 compared to their predecessors, mainly due to inflation or the addition of new technology. But after the European prices of the LG OLED and the US prices of the LG OLED, both shown stable or lower for the C5, were revealed recently, we remained hoped that the same thing would be true for the United Kingdom. For the announced models, that’s about the case, and it was a good LG call.
The OLEDs of the C series of LG are often among the most popular televisions each year, with their versatility Jack-of-Trades making them excellent for films. They are also among the best game televisions and present themselves in a wide range of sizes, often for the most competitive price compared to rivals.
Looking at the LG C5 on paper, its specifications are not so different from the C4, apart from the features we mentioned above. Unfortunately, there is no new OLED panel with four necklaces, which can be found on the LG G5, or even the micro Lens Array panel (MLA) used on G4 last year this time. So, of course, we expect that there is no compromise on the price, and fortunately, that’s what happened.
We are currently testing the LG C5, so expect a full exam soon.
