- AI will improve solutions with low code and without code, not replace them, report assertions
- The application of the application manufacturer indicates that most managers have seen cost and time savings with a low / without code
- Companies should continue to support Upskilling developer
Low code and code -free tools remain crucial and will continue to live in an AI improved time, said new research.
Despite the promise of artificial intelligence to increase the effectiveness of coding and accessibility, technology leaders consider AI as improving low and code -free tools, rather than replacing them.
An application manufacturer’s report revealed that almost all companies (95%) have used low and code -free tools in the past year for software development, highlighting their prevalence for companies around the world.
Three out of four technological leaders (76%) envisage the AI making their existing tools more effective, with even more (84%) confirming that AI will not replace their dependence on low code solutions and without code.
“While AI converges with a weak code and without code, we will see a whole new emergence paradigm which will change the way the applications are built, which can build them and how quickly it can happen,” said Jason Beres, Vice-President Director of Developer Tools at Infragists, the company behind App Builder.
Almost all (98%) technological leader reported development time savings with low and code -free solutions, with almost four out of five companies (78%) that save up to 50%of development time. Two others out of three (67%) said they had reduced their costs to 30%, with one in ten more than by two of their costs thanks to simpler tools.
The report noted that companies are increasingly focusing on creating personalized applications – a lack of resources and a shortage of global skills make solutions to low and without code particularly useful in this area.
Beres added that companies should not only focus on automating applications development to improve efficiency, productivity and collaboration, but they should also continue to invest in update to ensure that their workers are ready to manage emerging technologies and change requests.
