A man was arrested in the Lahore Kahna region for pretending to attack a 15 -year -old boy, police announced on Friday.
According to the police, the incident took place in the village of Sadho Ki, where the boy went to cut fodder on the ground. The suspect named Heera, would have attracted the boy and tried to attack him.
During the incident, the boy took an alarm. The suspect would have answered by threatening to kill him and by attacking him physically.
Police said the boy had been injured on his left arm following the fight.
Kahna police carried out a quick operation and arrested the local suspect.
A case was registered against him and was given to the gender cell for a more in -depth investigation.
The police officer’s police station (SHO) Kahna said the case was investigated with full grave. “The suspect will be treated according to; aw. The persons involved in any form of exploitation and abuse of children will face strict measures,” he said.
Police officials urged the public to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity, in particular concerning the safety of children.
“There would be no leniency for individuals invoked in such crimes,” added the Sho.
The survey is currently underway, and other legal proceedings will be based on the evidence collected by the gender cell.
