If New York Yankees played a clean defense in the World Series, there are many chances of going to Los Angeles with a 3-2 series advance.
But, they lost games 1 and 5 in part in part to poor food, and therefore, the Los Angeles Dodgers were champions, winning the fall classic in the Bronx.
After winning everything, many members of the Dodgers quickly reminded everyone of how they did – taking advantage of the errors of the Yankees (and the Fat Joe Curse).

Well, the Yankees had time to dissect these comments, and with launchers and wrestlers who presented themselves in training in the spring on Tuesday, manager Aaron Boone was questioned about the remarks.
He admitted that his players had taken the comments personally, but the Dodgers had the right to say “everything they want as a champion”.

He added to Tampa journalists that the Yankees “did not play our best in this series, and they won”.
To make things worse, the Yanks lost Juan Soto to their rivals from Crosstown in a free agency – although he is not exactly elite with the glove.

But they pivoted very well by signing the candidate of the Cy Young Award Max Fried and the MVP NL 2022 Paul Goldschmidt while exchanging for a closer to Devin Williams and Cody Bellinger, who was the 2019 MVP NL.
