The chief of staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, who is on an official visit to the United States, recognized the contributions of Pakistani abroad to the country’s economy and global reputation by actively contributing through funds, investments and higher achievements in other fields, the inter-service public relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.
During the visit, the army media wing said that the army chief had received a warm reception and the reception of the Pakistanis abroad, who met in large numbers to meet him in Washington DC.
While interacting with the diaspora, said the ISPR, Marshal Munnir expressed his deep appreciation for the vital role and the most important played by the Pakistanis abroad to be ambassadors of Pakistan
Meanwhile, the Pakistani abroad warmly appreciated the exceptional performances of the armed forces during operation Bunyan-Um-Marsoos and Marka-E-Haq, presenting their bravery and their professionalism.

They also shared their experiences and their suggestions with the COAS, while it underlined the importance of engagement with the Pakistanis abroad, stressing the need for continuous collaboration and cooperation to meet current challenges and promote cooperation, added the army media wing.
The interaction ended with a renewed sense and a commitment, while the Coas and the Pakistanis abroad have committed to working together towards a safer, prosperous and resilient Pakistan.
It is relevant to mention here that India has launched not caused attacks on several Pakistani cities and air bases last month in response to the Attack on Pahalgam on April 22.
In response, the armed forces of Pakistan launched a large-scale military reprisal action, called “Operation Bunyan-UM-Marsoos”, and targeted several Indian military targets in several regions on May 10.
Pakistan has shot down its six fighter planes, including three bursts and dozens of drones. After at least 87 hours, the war between the two nuclear nations ended on May 10 with a cease-fire agreement negotiated by the United States.
The military confrontation between the two countries was triggered by the April attack in the Iiojk which made 26 downturn, India accusing Pakistan for the attack without offering any evidence.
In recognition of his brilliant military direction, his courage and his bravery, guaranteeing the sovereignty of Pakistan and territorial integrity and a courageous defense against the enemy, Coas Munir was raised to the rank of Marshal on the ground.
