Ricardo Salinas, a Mexican billionaire franc, revealed that his investment portfolio is mainly allocated to Bitcoin (BTC), Gold and Actions in his businesses.
The Mexican billionaire, whose net value is estimated at around 5.8 billion dollars, is a well-known supporter of the BTC who, many times, has shown support for cryptocurrency. Four years ago, Salinas said he was working to make his bank the first in Mexico to accept Bitcoin.
“I have around 70% in exposure linked to Bitcoin and 30% in minors in gold and gold,” said Salinas during an interview with Bloomberg. “I don’t have a single obligation and I have no other actions except mine.”
The figure of 70% is especially well above the 10% that the billionaire revealed that he had allocated to the cryptocurrency in 2020. His words come to admit that the plans of the staging of his flagship company Grupo Elektra and the legal and tax challenges in progress with the Mexican government.
