Midas, a financial tokenization platform, said it introduced two tokenized investment products on Etherlink, a layer 2-compatible Ethereum compatible system for faster and cheaper transactions, built using the tezos blockchain.
The new products, Mmev and MRE7Yield, are designed to offer opportunities in decentralized finance (Challenge) And are monitored by Mev Capital and Re7 Capital, respectively, each acting as a risk manager appointed, according to a press release on Wednesday.
This decision is based on previous products of Midas, Mbasis and Mtbill, which attracted together $ 11 million of total locked value (TVL) On Etherlink since their introduction. These tokenized certificates follow financial strategies via ERC-20 tokens, allowing users to hold exposure via smart contracts without permission without authorization while retaining compliance monitoring.
The new products follow a similar model. The MMEV offers an exhibition to arbitration and non -neutral opportunities on the market through blockchain ecosystems, while MRE7YIELD follows diversified DEFI performance strategies. In both cases, investors avoid dealing with several regional intermediaries or regulations by performing strategies via a single chain transaction.
Etherlink, with its rapid confirmation times and negligible transaction costs, has experienced recent network upgrades, including almost moments of withdrawal.
This required contracts through several layers of intermediaries, each governed by their own local regulations, could soon be executed by a single smart contract call, said David Relkin, DEFI manager at Nomadic Labs, a group of Tezos developers working on Etherlink.
“Products like MMEV and MRE7YIELD finally make advanced performance farming strategies accessible to institutional investors. We consider them an important step towards large finance,” said Relkin in the press release.
For Midas, Etherlink provides the ideal environment for scalable financial applications, where strategies can be composed directly in loans, automated market manufacturing and structured chests with a minimum of general costs and maximum accessibility, said Dennis Dinkelmeyer, CEO of Midas
“Etherlink offers the scalability and compasibility necessary to provide structured and compliant strategies entirely on the chain. With Mmev and MRE7YIELD, we are expanding a secure and auto-bavard exhibition to institutional quality products. ” Dinkelmeyer said in a statement.
