- OnePlus confirmed that he will launch a smaller model from his watch 3
- New leaks suggest that this could be an Oppo rebadged watch X2 Mini
- This would mean a 43 mm chassis, with a cheaper price to match
Two new leaks seem to indicate that the smaller promised version of the OnePlus Watch 3 will be a more Watch 3 mine which is essentially an Oppo Rebadged X2 mini watch.
The OnePlus Watch 3 is one of the best Android intelligent watches of 2025 so far, but it lacks attraction for some due to its large size. This large chassis contains 120 hours of autonomy, but is simply too large for some customers to wear them.
Earlier this year, OnePlus promised us a smaller version, and we now have a good idea what we can expect.
As we pointed out a few weeks ago, the Oppo Watch X2 Mini is very likely to offer us an overview of the OnePlus 3 watch. Oppo and OnePlus share the same parent company, and therefore a lot of equipment.
Now, two other new leaks seem to confirm that the OnePlus Watch 3 ‘Mini’ watch is on the way, and that it will essentially be a mini mini of 43 mm Oppo X2 Mini.
On April 10, X Leaker, Abhishek Yadav, said that the new Oppo X2 mini watch in China “would launch as a mini Watch 3 Mini in India and the world”.
The Oppo Watch X2 Mini is a 43 mm intelligent watch with an AMOLED LTPO 60Hz screen, a double chip design that helps the battery and wear OS 5.
Now, the new announcements of the Federal American Communications Commission for a new SmartWatch OnePlus point to a 43 mm smartwatch likely to launch any day now. As identified by 91mobiles, not only is the chassis identical to the Oppo Watch X2 Mini, its 345mah battery capacity is also identical.
A cheaper and more attractive OnePlus watch?
The Watch 3 OnePlus endured a hot start since it was released earlier this year. Although it is a fantastic watch on paper, the launch was delayed by two months due to a typing fault in the design – the back read “Meda in China”.
Then, in the weeks between the initial launch and the new release date of April 10, the United States began to impose radical prices on goods imported from many countries, including China. As a result, OnePlus increased the price of the 46 mm higher model from $ 329 to $ 499, an increase of more than 50%.
The OnePlus Watch 3 Mini will certainly be cheaper than the existing model, which could slightly soften the blow. However, American customers are likely to cope with an increase in similar prices on the smaller model. As such, the OnePlus Watch 3 Mini could well cost 50% more than what we expected, just like the larger model.
The expected price increase would be a devastating blow for a otherwise excellent smartwatch with large health chops, the rest of the Google operating system technology and the battery life at the head of the segments. He cannot correspond to the best boys, but he is in front of Apple Watch and Pixel Watch alternatives for longevity.
Unfortunately, an increase in prices would put it on the territory of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra watch. The OnePlus Watch 3 could be one of the first victims of the technological price increases fed at the prices, but it will probably not be the last.
