The Minister of the Interior of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Waqar Ahmad Noor, accused India of bringing weapons and drugs through the control line (loc) and orchestrating the activities of Sabotage in the region using improvised explosive devices (IED).
Addressing a press conference in Muzaffarabad, Noor said that India’s military and intelligence agencies were involved in the destabilization of the region through subversive activities, Express News reported.
He revealed that since 2016, 54 IED incidents have been planted along the loc, with an increasing number of these activities in recent years.
Noor has provided specific details of the Indian IEDs discovered and exploded in several places, including Chakothi, Nosepir, Chirikot, Rakh Chakri and Deva.
The number of these incidents has increased in areas such as Battal and Kot Kotera, causing civilian victims.
“The long -standing sabotage activities of India along the loc have intensified, the IEDs, the weapons and the drugs have been introduced in smuggling through sectors like Bagh, Battal and Deva,” said Noor.
According to the minister, four Indian IEDs were recovered between February 4 and 6 in the battle sector and Rawalakot. He also mentioned that Indian forces had raped the ceasefire on February 12 in the Deva and Bagsar sectors.
The Minister also accused India of using military channels to pass drugs and weapons across the border, weapons supplies reaching the Indian border units through double agents.
According to Noor, the Indian army eliminates these agents by presenting them falsely as Pakistani and by making false meetings.
He added that Pakistan has provided evidence of subversive activities from India to the United Nations.
Noor pointed out that India’s uninsured dismissal on innocent civilians and its destabilizing activities along the loc have a long history, and India should not forget that Pakistan has the full capacity to respond with force. He warned that India’s malicious activities could threaten regional security.
Security sources have also said that two Pakistani soldiers were injured during violations of the ceasefire by Indian forces in the Bagsar and Deva sectors on February 12.
