The Minister says that the M-6 will cost RS364B

Islamabad:

The Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives said that the cost of the M-6 Hyderabad-Sukkur motorway rationalized from 395 billion to 364 billion.

It is a question of specifying that at the meeting of the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) held on June 18, 2025, an error was made in the cost figure of the Hyderabad-Sukkur motorway project (M-6), which was reported by inadvertance, said a statement published here on Friday.

The correct cost of the project, as recommended for the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC), is 364 billion rupees, not RS395 billion as initially indicated in the press release.
