On Sunday, the Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry made a surprise visit to the H-9 Ramazan Bazaar to assess the arrangements for essential goods and pricing checks.
The minister visited stands linked to the Prime Minister’s rescue package, engaged with buyers and received updates to city measures to stabilize prices during the sacred month.
During the visit, the Minister examined the quality and availability of subsidized fruits and vegetables in the stands managed by the government.
He spoke directly with customers to collect comments on affordability and offer. District administration officials have confirmed that 15 key foods are sold at reduced prices.
