The Federal Minister of Health, Syed Mustafa Kamal, said that if important health research is produced in Pakistan, the real challenge lies in the translation of this research into exploitable policies and real health care improvements.
Speaking during the 6th International Medical Research Conference (IMRC) in Karachi, Kamal stressed the urgent need to link research to the execution of policies. “As soon as I return to Islamabad, I will call for all health reports in Healthrab and other institutions and ensure their implementation,” he said, adding that the Ministry of Health must pass words to action.
