Prince William’s decision to move his family to Forest Lodge reflects his desire to live a more normal life on a royal life.
According to Royal Jennie Bond expert, the Prince of Wales wants to create a stable and private family life with Kate Middleton and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The Prince and the Princess of Wales are preparing to leave Adelaide Cottage later this year and to settle permanently in Forest Lodge, a residence in the field of Windsor.
Speak with The mirror, Bond explained that William wanted to raise his children in a more anchored environment, in accordance with his vision of “royalty with a small R.”
“William focuses on the creation of a stable and private family life: the genre he never had when he grew up. And so he wants to keep his family firmly rooted,” she said.
“He has already defined the way he wants to do things: he calls him royalty with a small R. and I think that a house” forever “in Forest Lodge is in accordance with this philosophy,” said Bond.
“I don’t think William will beat an eyelid to break certain royal traditions,” she said. “He doesn’t want to live in a palace or a castle and he decided to do things differently.”
“Living in a house – although a fairly large house like the Forest Lodge – will give your family a much more normal life, and that, I’m sure, will hold them in a good place.”
