According to the NDMA council, a large part of the country is likely to experience high temperatures and dry conditions throughout the period. Forecasts are particularly worrying for Balutchistan and Sindh, where temperatures should remain significantly above normal.

Similar meteorological models are planned in a large part of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Cashmire.

However, light rains and a partially cloudy sky are expected in specific districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, notably Abbottabad, Bannu, Biner, Charsadda, Chitral, Dir, Haripur, Karak, Kohat, Kohistan, Kyber, Kurram, Mansehra, Mohmand, Nowshera, Peshawar, Swabi, Swat, and Wazire.

Gilgit-Baltistan and various regions of Azad Jammu and Cashmere can also see occasional precipitation during this period. The NDMA urged local authorities to remain vigilant and take the necessary precautions, especially in areas at risk of extreme heat.

It is advisable to the public to remain hydrated, to avoid direct sunlight during peak hours and to protect vulnerable people, including children, elderly and respiratory persons.
