The nephew of Imran “ picked up ” at Lahore Raid: Pti

Lahore:

On Thursday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) alleged that the men in civilian clothes made a descent into the residence of Lahore d’Aleema Khan, sister of the former Prime Minister Imran Khan, and removed his son, Shahrez Khan, in what the opposition party described as an “illegal act of Imidation”.

According to PTI leaders, the raid took place late Wednesday evening when an unidentified group of people entered the home of Aleema Khan forcibly. Party officials said that the household staff had been attacked, the members of the harassed family and that Shahrez had been withdrawn from his room in front of his children.

The Central Department of Information of the PTI published a statement calling for the episode “The height of the boost and oppression”, adding that “even domestic workers were subjected to brutal violence”.

Rana Mudassar Umar, PTI lawyer, told the media that Shahrez had no political affiliation and had faced registered business. He added that the party would ask the High Court of Lahore (LHC) for its immediate recovery.

“People dressed in civilian clothes entered the house and took Aleema Khan’s son with them,” he said. “No case has been recorded against him, and he is not linked to politics,” he said.

The party alleged that the incident had one day came after Shahrez had been prevented from traveling abroad with his wife, when he was arrested at Lahore airport and “illegally unloaded” of a flight.
