- EUFY launched a new smart lock with an integrated video camera
- Famlock S3 Max has an extra-high vision field to record visitors
- The lock also has a palm recognition and can release the door in a second
EUFY has just launched a new smart lock with an integrated camera to record visitors, and the recognition of palm trees that can open your door in a second when it recognizes the unique model of blood vessels in your hand. The EUFY FAMILOCK S3 Max is available in pre-order now for $ 329.99 (about £ 260 / $ 530 in) if you are an existing EUFY customer and you will go on general for $ 399.99 (around £ 320 / $ 640) from March 17 in online stores, including HOMEDEPOT.COM and BESTBUY.COM.
It is considerably more than most of the best intelligent locks that we have tested, but the familock S3 Max actually doubles with video drunk thanks to its 2K wide angle camera that captures net images of visitors and package deliveries.
The camera offers a vertical view of 150 degrees from head to toe and a diagonal view of 180 degrees, which beats many of the best video bells on the market and covers the blind spots that other devices may be missing. For example, although the last video ring in the ring battery is excellent, its field of vision is only 150 x 150 degrees, which means that it could miss the movement that family would detect.
You can consult images of the camera on your phone via the EUFY application, or using an interior video screen (sold separately) which works effectively as high resolution Judas, and should be particularly useful for Children and senior users who may not have access to an appropriate smartphone.
Practical access
Famlock offers a range of different opening options, whose palm recognition is the most interesting. This technology (also used in the Philips 5000 Video Palm Video Recognition Lock) uses an infrared sensor to detect the single blood vessel model in your hand and compare it to a database of up to 50 scanned palm trees to determine S ‘It is a correspondence. If this is the case, the lock will open in a single second, allowing you to enter without the hassle of searching the keys.
You will also not have to worry about power outages. The lock has a rechargeable lithium battery of 15,000 mAh, plus four AAA batteries as a backup, which keeps it in office up to six months, and offers basic functions (automatic blocking and access to the pins) until at one year.
We already have a hand on the EUFY FAMILOCK S3 Max and will soon bring you a complete examination of the aircraft.
