- Dyson Hot + Cool HF1 is a new fan heater with a companion application
- Equipped with a temperature sensor for energy efficient heating
- Can heat a part per 1 ° C in as little as 100 seconds
Pack these sandals. Empty your ice cream trays. Summer is over, winter is there. Or, at least it will be soon. Relatively. Fortunately, Dyson has a new gadget to help take the advantage and prevent cold.
The Hot + Cool HF1 dyson is a fan radiator that promises calm, fast and energy -efficient warming, and it looks like my perfect companion in cold weather. In fact, it will also win its dungeon in summer, because it can work as a fan – but in these vaguely cold early fall days, it is the heating properties that interest me the most.
This is the first connected fan heating from Dyson, which means that you can control the parameter via a companion application, as well as on the machine itself. This very important upgrade means that you can turn on the radiator via your application while you return home and return to a grilled house.
I am also happy to see that Dyson included a thermostat. The execution of a radiator can often be expensive, but here you can define a target temperature and the HF1 will only do what it owes it to maintain it, rather than wasting energy by making your room increasingly hot until you finally notice that you have reached subtropical temperatures.
There is a timer, which is useful if you want to use the HF1 at the beginning of the night to keep you comfortable while you drop. On what note, Dyson added a thoughtful sleep mode, where the display decreases and the fan heater works particularly silently.
The HF1 can work like a fan or a radiator, but it does not look like the traditional versions of one or the other of these things. The minimal and lamp -free design uses the air multiplier technology to collect the air of the surrounding area in the stream which is moving away from the “hoop”, helping to heat or cool the part faster.
It can apparently increase the temperature in a room of a degree (Celsius) in less than two minutes, and you can warm up a space up to 32 ° C. There is an oscillation up to 70 degrees and the possibility of tilt manually if you want more direct warming.
The absence of grids and blades also means a safer device, but other pains have been made to ensure that HF1 is suitable for houses with children and pets. There are no visible heating elements and all surfaces maintain low surface temperatures, and it will automatically cut if it is down. Oh, and there is also a safety lock on the control panel.
The Dyson Hot + Cool HF1 should be sold in the United Kingdom in October, at the price of the £ 399.99 list. I have no information on prices or the launch date for the United States or Australia, but on the basis of the United Kingdom prices, it can be $ 550 /800 in.
