- Maxsun’s mini-instation merges the GPUS doubles and mobile silicon in a compact office unit
- With 48 GB of VRAM, it is clearly designed to require creative and IA inference tasks
- Dual Thunderbolt 5 ports and slimsas slot machines push the bandwidth to a theoretical 192 Gbps
Maxsun introduced what he claims to be the first compact workstation in the industry built around the Intel Ultra 9 285HX basic processor, a chip based on Arrow Lake-HX architecture.
The Maxsun mini-establishment is a compact system intended for professionals who manage the inference of AI, the deployment of the model or the creative work rich in resources.
The system includes two Maxsun Arc Pro B60 GPUs, in particular the 24 g of step model, each equipped with 24 GB of video memory – together, they provide a total of 48 GB of VRAM, designed to take charge of demanding workloads such as large languages and long -term scenarios such as QWEN3-32B.

There are certain questions about its practical compatibility and if such GPU arrangements can evolve effectively on different software stacks, in particular those outside the AI laboratories.
On the processor front, Maxsun opted for the Ultra 9 285HX Core, a 24 -core processor with 8 performance cores and 16 effective nuclei.
This mobile class chip, recontextualized for the office via the MODT (Mobile on desktop) strategy, constitutes the basis of the mini station.
The processor is neither removable nor improving, which requires a fixed ceiling for long -term flexibility.
Although the choice of equipment has meaning from the point of view of manufacturing, it can arouse doubts for buyers.
In terms of connectivity, the mini station supports a M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4, two M.2 PCIe 4.0 X4 and two Slimsas SFF -8654 4i PCIe 4.0 X4 – Combined with Dual Thunderbolt 5 and Dual Thunderbolt 4 Ports, the system provides a theoretical success of 192 Gbps.
These specifications suggest real potential for external GPU configurations or ultra-fast local storage, important factors for those looking for the best PC for video publishing or complex simulations.
The Maxsun GPUs incorporate double fans, composite heat peaks and a metal back plate, which should ensure thermal stability.
However, this does not eliminate concerns about limiting performance in such a compact case.
