Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led the coalition government extended its federal office to 46 members, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif after 27 new federal ministers, ministers and state councilors took the oath to Aiwan-E-Sadr on Thursday.
President Asif Ali Zardari was sworn in to the new members of the federal cabinet during a prestigious ceremony attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz, President of Senate Yusuf Raza Gilani and senior officials.
The enthronement of 13 federal ministers, 11 ministers of states and three councilors in the federal office saw the inclusion of the coalition parties in the government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz.
Hanif Abbasi, Moeen Watto, Mustafa Kamal, Sardar Yousuf, Aurangzeb Katchi, Rana Mubashir, Raza Hayat Hiraj, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry were among the new arrivals who have taken oath as federal ministers.
In addition, Ali Perviz Malik, Shaza Fatima, Junaid Anwar, Khalid Magsi and Pir Imran Shah also took an oath as federal ministers.
Talal Chaudhry, Barrister Aqeel Malik, Malik Rasheed, Armghan Subhani, Kheal Das Kohistani, Abdul Rehman Kanju, Bilal Azhar Kayani, Mukhtar Bharath, Shezra Mansab, Aun Charthry and Wajiha Qamar were among the 11 new state ministers.
Muhammad Ali, Tauqir Shah and Pervez Khattak also took an oath as special advisers during the ceremony.
