- Sony launches the new Ier-Ex15C wired buds for $ 29.99 (about £ 22 £ / 45 in)
- USB-C connection with online remote control and microphone
- Four colors and three ear sizes
If you are looking for a simple and simple set of very affordable headphones, Sony can just have the thing. The new IR-EX15C headphones are wired USB buds with an online remote control, an integrated microphone for calls and a cable resistant to tangles.
There are four colors to choose, and in accordance with the theme, they have names without frills instead of sophisticated marketing creations: the choices of colors are black, white, blue and pink.
Better still, they are really cheap: only $ 29.99. This represents about £ 22 /45 $ before tax. It’s a little more than Apple’s tastes, but I prefer Sony’s shape and adjustment.
No battery does not mean battery anxiety
Sometimes simple, it’s better: if you are dispersed like me and continue to forget to load your wireless buds, the presence of a good old -fashioned cable means the difference between the tunes and no pieces. And the USB-C cable should operate with almost any audio source.
The buds are small and light, with three ear tips for a secure adjustment and the volume of the handles online, the game / pause and the mutilation of the microphone.
The pilots here are 5 mm. Sony says they deliver rich bass and clear voices, and I listened to enough music on enough series of budgetary sonys over the years to expect it to sound perfectly for the money you spend. Of course, there are better wired headphones, but even our current affordable choice of the best wired headphones costs three times more than these Sonys.
The ier-ex15c headphones are cheap, cheerful and colorful, and sometimes that’s all you need. They are available from Sony and usual points of sale.
