“I discovered when everyone discovered it,” said Pickens, via CBS Sports. “I feel good. I like the mojo here. I like the loot. There are a lot of new players I have met. I have the impression that they have a good thing, that’s for sure.”
Pickens added that he had not asked for a Pittsburgh trade despite rumors throughout the offseason. Steelers fans began to speculate when Pickens no longer followed the team on Instagram.

“This match is just as a business as football,” said Pickens. “It’s a bit like out of my control. I am happy to be here in Dallas and to continue the winning culture they have.”
While Pickens was undoubtedly the best reception option for Pittsburgh in the last three seasons, head coach Mike Tomlin has publicly called Pickens after pins of taunts and an overview. Pickens also had arguments with fans in the stands.
“Just grow, guy,” said Tomlin last season. “It is an emotional game. These division games are large. He has a target on his back because he is George. He understands it, but he has to grow. He has to grow in a hurry.”
Tomlin made these comments after the victory of the Steelers 44-38 on the road to week 13, when Pickens was evaluated taunts and driving penalties in the form of inexposition.

While Pickens understands that his past actions open him to criticism, he is ready for the next chapter of his career.
“I have the impression that everyone in the world is working to grow up on their improvement in their self,” he said. I have the impression that growth for me is taking a big direction by coming to cowboys. “”
