Zoom has deleted the virtual agent wrapped in the zoom phone, allowing businesses can now use an AI 24/7 concierge to replace or take charge of existing receptionists.
The agent of AI promises to naturally salute the appellants, process requests and initiate the next steps without any human intervention, helping to reduce missed calls and maintenance times.
Available from the launch in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Japanese (with more languages to come), Zoom says that his virtual agent is able to effectively complete calls independently, which brings customers closer to a resolution without the need for a human to get the phone.
Zoom’s virtual agent is a digital receptionist
“By combining the AI that can listen, understand and act with the scope of Zoom Phone, our concierge virtual agent provides transparent and personalized support to all callers,” said Smita Hashim, Director of Zoom Products, Smita Hashim.
Zoom has highlighted how companies can take advantage of the immense power agent’s agent powers without any expertise thanks to the configuration without code – they can simply train the agent by downloading existing documents or pointing a website.
“The result is a faster, more personalized and more scalable experience for everyone,” added Hashim.
Some of the use cases highlighted by Zoom include the reservation of appointments in health care, confirmation of actions and the answer to product questions in retail and the supply of updates in financial services.
At the same time, Zoom has added new agental AI AI to AI function, including a tool that manages meetings by finding appropriate moments, coordinating invitations, following the responses and suggesting alternatives.
In the press release, the company noted that the companion is now going even further “[give] Team more time to focus on the discussion itself, not on logistics. “”
