- This wireless game helmet has an impressive set of features and an excellent microphone

The logitech G522 Lightspeed logitech gamitech g522 gaming accessories brand, a new wireless game helmet to replace the popular Logitech G733 Lightspeed.
The G522 Lightspeed has redesigned gauges, with a larger shape and an additional layer of memory foam for improved comfort. It has a light and adjustable fabric strip, which is now resting flatter than its predecessor and has integrated crests for better cooling.
The exterior of each ear cup offers four cableable eye -catching RGB lighting areas, which can be changed to the color of your choice in the Logitech G Hub desktop software. It is also compatible with the Logitech G mobile application.
Under the hood, the helmet packs the highest 40 mm Pro-G drivers of Logitech G with a 24-bit / 48 kHz signal processing for improved clarity and audio detail.
The helmet is delivered with a removable omnidirectional microphone, which offers an impressive 16 -bit / 48 kHz bandwidth. It is the same microphone that we find in the excellent, but much more expensive, Astro A50 X, which impressed by its crystalline recordings in my practical tests.
On the Logitech G522 Lightspeed, the microphone has the additional advantage of an integrated red LED indicator which illuminates when it is silent.
As its name suggests, the helmet can connect to PC or PlayStation 5 via the Lightspeed wireless dongle from Logitech (which is included in the box), but also supports the traditional Bluetooth for the platforms above all in Nintendo Switch and Mobile. There is also the wired game option via its USB type-C connector.
Logitech claims up to 40 hours of autonomy with the default lighting, or up to 90 hours with it deactivated, which is a fairly impressive figure. It is not entirely up to 200 hours promised by the Hyperx Cloud III competing, but it is even more than enough juice for a few weeks of intense game sessions.
The Logitech G522 Lightspeed hits the shelves on June 16 in white or black colors. It costs $ 179 / 139.99 £ / 299.95 $ at, putting it in the mid -range price tranche.
Its set of expansive features seems very promising, but only time will tell us if it becomes one of the best PC game headsets or the best PS5 headsets.
