- Disclosed images apparently show the rumor of the final design of Dji Mavic 4 Pro
- The camera module seems capable of bowing much more than Mavic 3 Pro
- No visible Lidar module, but the propellers are more aerodynamic than Mavic 3 Pro
A new disclosed image suggests that the launch of the DJI Mavic 4 Pro may not be too far. Dji has not yet teased or confirmed anything about its highly rumor replacement for Mavic 3 Pro of 2023, but a clear and clear rendering shared by the Jasper Ellens series leak in its Dronexl site seems very convincing.
The image seems to be a final design rendering of the type used by DJI for promotional purposes. If it is true (and there is always the possibility that it is an intelligent model made by a fan), then it could refer to the launch date so that the drone is imminent. Dronexl suggests that April 20, 2025 could be the big day, and if this is the case, we can expect more leaks flow in the coming weeks – including the possible details of the specifications and capacities of the MAVIC 4 Pro.
Despite its clarity, this image does not tell us much that we did not already know the previous leaks, however, although it seems to show a reworked helix conception more aerodynamic than the old model. This could spell a quieter operation and a longer flight time – with 50 minutes of battery life being lit by previous leaks. The accessories also seem to have an easy release disc above each, which can be used to improve the air flow while helping to prevent rain and dust from entering the engines.
Tilling
As we can see previously, the triple camera module of Mavic 4 Pro (which, like the Mavic 3 Pro, includes the Hasselblad brand) seems to be physically larger and more bulbous than that of its predecessor.
The increase in size could indicate a better image quality via larger sensors or lenses, while the fact that it exceeds even more important on its cardan support to allow it a greater amplitude of motion. Some users of Mavic 3 Pro have found its range of cardin slightly limiting, so this could be the way DJI improves things.
Another leak of hers seems to confirm the additional amplitude of movement. On X (formerly Twitter), he shared a video that apparently proves that the Mavic 4 Pro camera will be able to tilt much further than Mavic 3 Pro. He also says that the camera will be able to shoot a vertical video.
The new video confirms that the # MAVIC4PRO camera will draw #VERTICAL and will go beyond 90 degrees. The inclination of the camera will also have #twice as far as the old Mavic3. Oh and I put high resolution images at the end of the article. Cheers! Https: //t.co/omhllebw3tMarch 5, 2025
Where is the Lidar module hides?
We are delighted with the prospect of improving the performance of the camera, given that the Mavic 3 Pro, which has a camera with a 24 mm / 20mp sensor camera, a 3X telephoto lens with a 1 / 1.3 inch sensor and a 7X telephoto lens with a 1/2 inch sensor, is currently like our favorite camera drone.
There is no signs of the Lidar module very touted either on the new disclosed image, although Dronexl thinks it is there – just hidden behind the propeller on the left arm of the drone due to the angle of the shot. This makes sense, since Lidar is one of the DJI Air 3 features of the mid -range published last fall. If the mid -range model has it, it surely follows that the flagship too?
Expect to know more about the DJI Mavic 4 Pro in the period of its still unconfirmed launch date. If it is April 20, 2025, as rumors suggest, we will probably have more speculation (and specifications) to share with you soon.
