- A deposit points to 25 W for the Samsung Tri-Fold
- Which corresponds to the Galaxy S25 and Z Fold 6
- The foldable phone could be revealed from July
We are impatiently awaiting the complete unveiling of the Samsung component phone at some point later this year, but the last rumor around the handset suggests that it will be somewhat disappointing in terms of load speed.
According to the documentation filed with regulators in China (via Samobile), Samsung’s Tri-Fold will offer 25 W. It is equally with the Samsung Galaxy S25 phones and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Although it may not be surprising that Samsung sticks to the same load limits as these current flagship products, the Oppo finds N5 loads at 80W when it is connected, while the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra reached the heights of 45W.
Samsung may be safely plays with charging technology to avoid charging too much to add a new shape factor to its range. We have found estimates of up to $ 3,500 (around £ 2,585 / $ 5,390 in) for this handset.
Here is what we think we know
We have seen many other unofficial leaks and rumors on this handset: the only piece of official information and confirmed by Samsung is that this tripolar handset is definitely about to take existing phones like the Huawei Mate XT.
One of the not confirmed information that we have encountered is that this phone will be called the Galaxy G Fold. This would certainly conform to the current foldables that Samsung sells, in terms of name.
Apparently, the folding handset will be delivered with a 6.49 inch outdoor screen and a huge 9.96 inch screen inside. If this turns out to be the case, we will be very tablet territory when the phone is open.
With the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 thinking of breaking the cover in July, the Galaxy G Fold (if it turns out to be its name) could happen at the same time – but some sources have said that it would really be revealed later in the year.
