Houston Texans Security Jimmie Ward was arrested in Texas early Thursday morning for an accusation of criminal assault, according to online prison files.
Ward, 33, was arrested around 5:30 am local time and reserved in the county of Montgomery. He was assault On a family member by hampering breathing or traffic, which is a crime of the third degree.

The Texans declared in a press release that they were aware of the reports surrounding Ward’s arrest.
“We collect more information and have no comments for the moment,” said the press release, via ESPN.

THE Houston Chronicle reported that the incident had taken place at the NFL player’s home in Magnolia. No other details surrounding the alleged assault was immediately known.

Ward spent the majority of his career playing for the San Francisco 49ers. In nine seasons with the organization, he recorded seven interceptions and 451 placed in 106 games.
He entered the 2023 off -season as a free agent before signing a $ 13 million contract of two years.

Ward signed a one -year contract extension worth $ 10.5 million before the start of last season. In two seasons with the Texans, Ward appeared in 20 games and recorded three interceptions and 98 plated.
