THE NFL, The Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans have committed together to make a donation collectively 1.5 million dollars to the communities affected by the floods in the center of Texas while the death report reached almost 70 on Sunday.
The NFL announced the donation before Texas officials share an update according to which they had received “unconfirmed reports from another wall of water”, which caused more evacuations.

“The two teams based in the Texas of the National League – the Dallas Cowboys And Houston Texans – Unite with the NFL Foundation to support families and survivors of the victims of the heartbreaking floods in the center of Texas, “said the League Declaration.

“Together, they will contribute $ 1.5 million to provide immediate assistance and long -term resources to those most affected by catastrophic floods.”
Texans First announced its intention to donate $ 500,000 on Saturday, adding that the donation will provide support and resources to communities “affected by devastating floods”.

“We have a heart broken by the loss and damage that our neighbors in Texas Hill Country have endured. We are particularly devastated to hear about children who are always missing, and we pray that they are soon gathered with their families,” continued the press release.

“Our hearts will remain with all the people affected and, in addition to our donation, we will continue to support research, rescue and recovery efforts in the coming weeks.”
Cowboys announced on Sunday that they will match the donation.
