The National Football League seems to be heading for its fourth continent.
According to a Herald Sun report in Australia, the League will play matches in Melbourne from 2026.

The Australian point of sale has reported that up to three games would be played, the first at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), which will showcase two teams with a recent success.

One of the games will feature the rams of the Eagles of Philadelphia and Los Angeles, says Herald Sun.
Birds are back in the Super Bowl for the second time in three years after winning it in 2018, while the Rams won the title three years ago.
The Eagles and Rams are the only two teams that are part of the NFL World Markets program in Australia, which was designed to build a Fandom and support outside the United States.
MCG contains around 100,000 people.
It would not be the first time that the NFL had played with Australia, because the Denver Broncos and then Diego Chargers played a pre-season match in 1999.

The Eagles were presented in the first NFL match in South America at the start of the season, with their week 1 match against the Green Bay Packers in Brazil.
The point of sale said that the Victorian government and the NFL “have been in secret talks for months”.
The offensive platform of the Eagles Jordan Mailata was born in Australia. He was a star rugby player who has never played football in high school or college.

The League will play in Spain for the first time later this year, the Miami Dolphins opponent to determine. Games have been played in London, Mexico and Germany. The first official match abroad in 2007 featured the Dolphins and New York Giants.
