Nintendo extends its partnership with the Seattle Mariners before the opening season of the MLB 2025, becoming the very first official Jersey Manche Partner of the Baseball Team.
Nintendo has announced the new collaboration with a new promotional video published on X / Twitter today, showing the central land of Seattle Mariner Julio Rodríguez sporting his New Jersey with the Red Logo of Nintendo on the Channel.
The coming season is expected to start on March 27, AKA Opening Day, and each member of the Seattle Mariners baseball team will present the Nintendo racetrack logo on their home jerseys, and a Nintendo Switch 2 logo on jerseys outside.
“Nintendo and the Mariners have been inextricably linked since 1992,” said Kevin Martinez, president of commercial operations in Seattle Mariners, in a press release.
“Now, whenever the navies take the ground, our jersey sleeves will help recall everything that Nintendo of America has done for the North West Community and the team. There is not a better partnership in the major baseball league. We are grateful for our incredible relationship with Nintendo.”

Julio Rodríguez will also deepen the partnership between the Mariners and Nintendo by serving as a brand ambassador.
“It is a real thrill to be able to associate with such a talented team, including brilliant stars like Julio,” said Doug Bowser, president and chief of the Nintendo of America.
“Our story with the navies dates back decades, so it really feels like going home. Nintendo has a lot of exciting news this year and thanks to collaborations like this, we are looking forward to creating even more smiles in all generations. Come on Mariners!”
This extended partnership is advancing just before the Nintendo Direct Showcase on April 2, which will probably reveal a launch date for the Nintendo Switch 2.
