- The Nintendo Switch 2 will automatically download screenshots and players’ videos to the official Nintendo Switch application
- The Switch application will store up to 100 files up to 30 days at a time, and the old files will be automatically deleted once the limit is reached
- The system will operate in the same way as the PlayStation application
Unlike the Nintendo switch, the Nintendo Switch 2 will have a feature that will allow players to easily save their screenshots and their videos.
According to Dataminer ‘Oatmealdome’, the Switch 2 can automatically download new screenshots and videos on the new album function of the official Nintendo Switch application, offering a faster and more efficient way to save files to user phones or tablets.
The Switch application will store up to 100 files up to 30 days at a time, and the old files will be automatically deleted once the limit is reached, so users will have to save the photos and videos they want to keep before being good.
Depending on the attached screenshot, if the players’ downloads take a long time to appear, they can check the condition of the file by accessing the album of the console, by downloading the settings, then downloading the condition.
This system works in the same way as the PlayStation application, which will also automatically store screenshots and play capture of the PlayStation 5.

This new feature is welcome and something that users have changed for years. Previously, players had to scan a QR code on their console to connect their device to their mobile to save their files.
Before it was deleted, there was also an option to download images and videos on social media accounts like X / Twitter, and some players, including myself, would use it as a way to save files.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will be launched next week on June 5 for $ 449.99 / £ 395.99 and $ 499.99 / £ 429.99 for the official Mario Kart World Bundle, which comes with a digital copy of the game.
British pre -orders and American pre -orders are now live. For those who have missed a pre -order, retailers like Gamescop and Best Buy have announced that they will restore Switch 2 units in store and online when the console is launched.
