Joseph was a second round of Dallas cowboys in 2021 after playing for LSU and Kentucky in college.

Joseph was a passenger inside a vehicle where two others with him fired in a group of men in Dallas, fatally hitting a man with the head. The police found that Joseph was not the shooter, and the NFL did not suspend him.

Joseph continued to play 16 games for Dallas in 2022, totaling 20 plated with two defended passes and a forced escape. But he started to bounce back from there.
