- An IU 8 could be available in beta very soon
- The software update is based on Android 16
- A new racing coach feature could be included
Although UI 7 was recently pushed to the masses by Samsung, it seems that an 8 user interface will follow it very quickly – and the software upgrade may well be delivered with a new coach functionality in the course of execution.
As Tipter @ Tarunvats33 pointed out (via Android Central), a message sent via the Samsung Members Application on Galaxy Devices gives instructions to join the One UI 8 Beta program, suggesting that it will be open in the near future.
A user interface 8 is Samsung’s point of view on Android 16, and it is logical that Samsung is trying to approach as much as possible from Google software update cycle. Google alluded to a launch of June for Android 16, with rumors pointing to Tuesday June 3 as a big day.
Samsung has not officially said anything on dates or availability, but it seems likely that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be the first devices eligible to be registered in the beta program, for those who want to try it before the full version.

While the One UI 8 Beta program is closer to the opening, we also have a tip on a new coach functionality in the course of execution, which was spotted by @gerwinvgiesen (via Samobile). The functionality may be part of the Samsung Health application or an autonomous application.
Based on screenshots published on social networks, the coach uses the monitoring capacities of your phone or smartwatch to analyze your current level of operation, then makes personalized recommendations on improvements.
“Running coach uses level assessments” to determine your level of physical condition and adjust your race program accordingly, “says one of the information screens.” This helps follow your progress and keep the risk of low injury because you gradually improve your physical form. “
There was no announcement on all of this from Samsung, but we could get one in July one day: it is then that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 should arrive, and they will come with an IU 8 on board.
