- The Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro have landed
- X9 Pro highlights include 7,500mAh battery and 200MP telephoto lens
- Both phones also feature a high-end MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset.
Just a day after the OnePlus 15 arrived overseas, another major Chinese phone was unveiled in the form of the Oppo Find X9 Pro, which landed alongside the slightly lower-end Oppo Find X9.
And as impressive as the OnePlus 15’s spec sheet is, the Oppo Find X9 Pro might beat it. In fact, in some ways it could beat almost any Android phone, including the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Its highlights include a massive 7,500 mAh battery. This is one of the highest capacity smartphone batteries we’ve ever encountered, beating out the OnePlus 15’s also impressive 7,300mAh battery.
The base Oppo Find
The other strong point of the Oppo Find X9 Pro is its 200MP f/2.1 telephoto lens, developed in partnership with Hasselblad, and offering 3x optical zoom. However, by cropping in the sensor, it can also shoot at 13.2x “lossless” zoom, which is further than most smartphone cameras can zoom.
The standard Oppo Find The Pro model also has this ultra-wide sensor, but benefits from an upgraded 50MP “Ultra XDR” main camera featuring a custom 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT 828 sensor. Additionally, you can also get a detachable zoom lens if you want to take even more advantage of the phone’s cameras.
Full of power and water resistant
Other features of these phones include a high-end MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, 120Hz displays (in 6.59- and 6.78-inch sizes for the standard and Pro, respectively), and impressive water resistance, with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. This suit protects them from powerful water jets, submersion in water and high temperature sprays, as well as dust.
Both phones are now available in the UK, with the Oppo Find
You can choose between Titanium Gray and Space Black finishes for the Oppo Find X9, and a choice of Silk White or Titanium Charcoal for the Oppo Find X9 Pro.
If you’re in the US, you definitely won’t be able to buy them without importing them, as Oppo doesn’t sell its phones there, while availability in Australia is unconfirmed at the time of writing.
