Islamabad: opposition parties reached a consensus on Tuesday that the dominant national crisis requires a unified effort of all democratic forces to orient the country towards stability and recovery, The news reported.

Tehreek Tahafuz Aiyeen-E-Pakistan Mahmood Khan Achakzai organized a dinner in honor of opposition leaders, bringing together key political figures.

The leaders expressed their surprise at the meeting of the delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) with the chief judge of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi, saying that it was unprecedented.

They also expressed their concern about the country’s economic situation and declared that how the economy could improve in the event of a rule of law and a justice system.

Opposition leaders were deeply concerned about the situation of law and order across the country, notably Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balutchistan. They accused that the federal government has not completely protected the life and property of the people.

They also agreed to organize a multi -party conference in the future to improve mutual relations and meet the challenges that the country faces and establish a steering committee to write a national program.

The meeting condemned the serious violation of fundamental human rights in the country and demanded that all political prisoners, including Imran Khan, be released immediately.
