Islamabad:
An alliance of the opposition parties – Tehreek Tahaffuz -e -Ain – announced a two -day conference of all the parties (APC), which will be held in Islamabad on July 31 and August 1 as part of its warned fight to ensure the supremacy of the Constitution and the Law.
“We will also hold an APC and invite people from state institutions. We will go out for the good of this country. Whatever the question concerns any section of the company, we will support it unconditionally,” said the head of the Alliance, Mahmood Khan Achakzai at a press conference in Islamabad.
Achakzai, who is also the leader of the PKMAP, said that the opposition alliance is the first political alliance not formed at the request of an institution. Nor is it created for the show or the drama, he added.
According to the politician, the alliance will continue until the country has a supervisory authority for truly impartial polls, the supremacy of the Constitution and a parliament which is the real source of power.
Referring to former Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said that the party leader who won the general elections on February 8 had been imprisoned and that a government had been trained by terrorizing the people. It is an insult to governance, he added.
Achakzai said the anti -terrorist courts (ATC) sentenced adults and minors to ten years in prison in May 9. “We will go from street to street and allĂ©e to the alley to protest against this government. We will protest from Gilgit-Baltistan to Gwadar, but we will use neither abusive nor violence,” he said.
Salman Akram Raja of PTI also discussed the media, declaring that the country had to be settled on the right track because it could not be executed by the use of force.
“Our movement for the protection of the constitution” is constitutional and ideological. We do not have the intention of violence. No one should use this movement as a pretext to impose more repression. Our people were punished only because they were affiliated with PTI, “he said.
