The owner Maims Camel for “ drinking water from his field ”

Sindh -chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took note of the horrible incident in Rohri, Sukkur, where a camel was brutally attacked and his leg amputated by three attackers on Thursday.

According to reports, an influential owner in the Sindh Sukkur district has tortured the animal after entering its agricultural land to drink water, breaking your leg into the process. The owner of the camel said that the owner had attached the animal to a tractor and dragged it with anger, also striking it on the face with sticks.

“The owner tortured my camel, broke his leg and dragged him with a tractor. He even hit him on his mouth with sticks,” said the owner.

The incident was revealed after a video of the attack has become viral on social networks, which encouraged the chief minister to worry immediately. Finding the act of cruelty towards “intolerable” animals, Shah ordered the SSP Sukkur to personally monitor the case, to stop the authors and to ensure an exemplary sanction.

Following his directives, the Sukkur police launched an intensive operation and arrested two of the three named suspects. The first, Qurban Brohi, was placed in police custody earlier during the day, while the second, Rasool Bux Sheikh, was held during a raid made by Sho Kandhra during a tip. Raids are underway in Rohri and adjacent areas to trace and stop the third accused.

The injured camel was treated in Rohri under the supervision of the Chairman of the District Council, Syed Kamil Shah, who submitted a detailed report to the chief minister. A veterinary team from Rohri Animal Hospital provided initial care before the animal’s transfer to a refuge in Karachi.

Muhammad Amin, the owner of the camel, expressed his gratitude for the rapid action of the government. “We are grateful to the chief minister Murad Ali Shah and President Kamil Shah for their immediate support and their efforts to save my camel,” he said.

The CM has reiterated that these acts of cruelty will not be tolerated in the Sindh. “The culprits will be faced with the entire strength of the law,” said Shah.

Brutality also revived the memories of a case similar to Sanghar last year, when an owner had cut the leg of a camel for having moved away from his fields. The camel, later named Cammie, was rescued and taken to Karachi in the custody of the CDRS Benji project for animal welfare. Six suspects were arrested as part of this attack, which led to a generalized indicator. After months of treatment and rehabilitation, the animal recently held on the four legs again with the help of a prosthetic member.
