- Users say that their watches go through a forced reset which requires replacing the watch
A multitude of users of Samsung Galaxy Watch report that their Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra Models continue to encounter a forced reset problem which forces them to put their devices again.
I was first alerted from the Reader Spike problem, which contacted me a problem with their Samsung Galaxy Watch 7. From the last update, they and other users have noticed the watch 7 disconnecting at random from the phone with which it is paired, so that the Usagère Samsung Galaxy application does not recognize the watch, requiring a reappearance reset.
“For me, it happens once a week,” said Spike. “I contacted Samsung who wanted me to send my watch, but I am almost sure that it is a software problem because many people on the forum have the same problem.”

A Samsung community forum traveled by Techradar indeed reveals a large wire of users which seems to suffer from this problem.
“For no apparent reason, my watch continues to make forced reset,” said the original poster. “I must then go through the entire process to put it back in place,” they added, even mentioning that the last hiccup has completely changed certain watch parameters.
Other users have come to say that they encountered the same problem. “Me too. 3 times now in less than 2 weeks,” replied a user.
The thread is entitled “Galaxy Watch 7 / Ultra Resetting”, which seems to indicate that this problem affects the two best Android smart watches in Samsung; It is not clear if it extends to other models.
The precise nature of the problem and its extent are not very troubled, but users definitively report persistent resets on their watches in galaxy, often several times a week. At least part of the time, this forces users to go through the configuration process to reconnect the watch.
We have contacted Samsung concerning the problem, but it is definitely a problem in development, and which seems to be quite widespread.
