Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said the nation on Sunday for its appropriate response to Indian aggression, its arrogance reduced to dust.
Addressing a private news channel, the Minister said that India had been left by licking his injuries after Pakistan’s decisive response, and that his pride had collapsed.
He noted that India’s political decision -makers had been forced to reassess their strategies in the light of the farm of Pakistan.
Answering a question about potential talks, he stressed that Pakistan would favor three fundamental concerns, namely industrial waters, cashmere and terrorism. These questions, he said, must be resolved to ensure peace in the region.
“These questions have been long-standing discord between Pakistan and India, and resolving them would require significant diplomatic efforts,” he said. “Pakistan’s position on these questions is clear, and any significant dialogue should answer these fundamental concerns.”
To another question, Khawaja Asif said that India had misinterpreted Pakistan’s restraint as weakness, but the armed forces had given a decisive response. He praised the global professionalism and reputation of the armed forces of Pakistan.
Federal Minister of Power Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari also congratulated the nation for the “Thanksgiving Day”, calling it for a moment to honor the unity and force of Pakistan in the face of the recent Indian aggression.
Speaking on occasion, Leghari praised the country’s leaders and armed forces for defending the nation. “When the enemy attacked, Pakistan was held firm and has made history,” he said in a statement.
He has credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other political leaders in time to have managed the country for a test period. “I pay tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and all the leaders who guided Pakistan during this test period,” he added.
Sardar Awais said that the response of the armed forces was a source of national pride. “Each move from the enemy has encountered a strong response. Our forces have shown courage and professionalism that made every citizen proud,” he said. He also praised their sacrifices, calling this a shared victory for the forces and the people.
Reaffirming the position of Pakistan, Leghari said that the country seeks peace but will not accept threats from its sovereignty. “Pakistan has shown the world that even if we want peace, it should never be confused with weakness,” he noted. He added that if the war is forced to Pakistan, the answer will be decisive.
The president of the Istehkam-E-Pakistan party abdul Aleem Khan said that it was a day to recall the words of Allama Iqbal on the Muslim victory over adversaries, words that had been made several times in history.
On Sunday, the Minister of Information of Punjab, Azma Bokhari, praised Pakistan’s last victory on Sunday on Sunday as “brilliant symbol of national unity, sacrifice and visionary leadership, by paying tribute to the armed forces and national leaders for the safeguard of the integrity and sovereignty of the country.
The president of Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC), Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, also made sincere congratulations to civil and military leaders for their unified and successful response to hostile provocations.
