The Pakistani army rescued the four miners trapped under an emerald mine on Thursday, which partially collapsed in the Malok Abad region in Swat a few hours earlier.

According to the first reports of Swat Rescue 1122, the mine suddenly collapsed during the extraction activity.
“By receiving the alert, the district emergency agent immediately sent a specialized team of a response to disasters on the site and a large-scale rescue operation was launched without delay,” said Rescue 1122 spokesperson Shafiqa Gul.
The Pakistani army has been informed and additional rescue teams were sent to the site.
